Viewer Configuration
You can customize the behavior and appearance of the SMART on FHIR Patient Chart to align with your application’s design, workflow, and user preferences. Configuration options are applied at the tenant or environment level and may require Health Gorilla support to enable or modify.
Branding and Display Options
The viewer supports limited branding configuration to match your organization’s UI expectations:
- Logo customization: Replace the default Health Gorilla logo with your organization’s logo.
- Color scheme: Adjust primary header colors to match your brand palette.
- Chart header: Include or exclude elements such as patient name, identifiers, and location info depending on your workflow.
Layout Configuration
Each chart section uses a default layout (table or card) based on data type. Some additional options are available:
- Default tab views: Configure whether sections open to all data, recent entries, or grouped by encounter.
- Section ordering: Control the order in which sections appear in the viewer.
- Section visibility: Enable or disable sections based on user role or application context.
Launch Behavior Configuration
Health Gorilla can support specific redirect behaviors and launch-related settings:
- Post-logout redirect: Define where users should be sent after logging out of the viewer.
- Launch expiration: Configure how long a launch session remains valid before expiring.
- Read-only enforcement: All viewer sessions are read-only by default and do not allow write operations or editing.
Support and Customization
Some configuration options may require backend adjustments or coordination with Health Gorilla. Contact your technical representative or Support team to:
